FIRST CLASSEXECUTIVE SECURITY

Chelmsford: Essex’s county town, on the London line.

Chelmsford is Essex’s administrative and commercial centre — a cathedral city and county town with the Liverpool Street line putting London inside forty minutes, a county cricket ground, and a compact, busy retail core. Its money lives in the villages around it: Writtle, Danbury, Little Baddow and the lanes toward the Blackwater, in period and new-build houses on private plots a short run from both the city and the coast.

So our Chelmsford work is largely residential and vehicular: protective surveys for the village houses where a private plot and a quiet lane are the design, secure driving on the commuter run and across mid-Essex, and discreet close protection for county occasions and cricket and cultural days. The register is quiet — in villages this size, a visible presence is itself the story.

An illustrative scenario

The kind of house mid-Essex produces: a private plot down a quiet lane whose seclusion looked like security until a survey walked the approach.

Local context — the Chelmsford area

The panel is a county-town-centre pattern; the villages where our residential work sits read quieter. The exposure worth planning for is the private approach and the commuter routine, not the ambient centre figure.

These are anonymised, approximate map-point figures for roughly a one-mile radius — never a specific street, property or person — for the most recent month published. “Violence” is the Home Office “violence and sexual offences” category — a broad measure spanning harassment and common assault through to serious violence, much of it domestic or inside licensed premises. It is not a measure of targeted risk to a protected client.
