Basildon: a new town with old money in the villages around it.
Basildon is a post-war new town built along the A127 corridor into London — a large retail centre, industrial and distribution estates, and a straightforward commuter position on the Fenchurch Street line. The money is not really in the town: it is in Billericay, Stock and the villages north of it, where south Essex turns green and the houses are large, private and frequently very new.
So our Basildon work is mostly residential and vehicular: protective surveys for the village houses where visible success and a private plot sit together, secure driving on the A127 and the commuter run, and discreet close protection for family occasions. The emphasis is on discretion — in this part of Essex, a property that announces itself is already halfway to being noticed.
