Credentials you can verify. Standards you can feel.
Licensing
Close protection is a licensed activity in the United Kingdom under the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Every officer we deploy holds a current SIA Close Protection licence. You are welcome to check any licence on the SIA’s public register — ask us for the numbers and we will hand them over.
Vetting
Our operatives are screened to BS 7858, the British Standard for security vetting: employment history, residency, financial and criminal record checks.
Operating practice
Our engagements are run in line with BS 8507-1, the British Standard code of practice for close protection services within the United Kingdom.
Insurance
Cover is arranged for each engagement and confirmed in writing before any officer is deployed. We will not make a blanket insurance claim on this page until our own cover is bound — if a firm tells you it is “fully insured”, ask to see the certificate and check what it actually covers.
Confidentiality and data
A non-disclosure agreement is standard on every engagement. Personal data is handled under UK GDPR; we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration ZB616964— which you are welcome to check on the ICO’s public register.
