FIRST CLASSEXECUTIVE SECURITY

Basingstoke: corporate Hampshire, forty minutes from Waterloo.

Basingstoke is a business town — corporate headquarters and technology offices spread across its business parks, a ring of roundabouts moving people between them, and a fast line to Waterloo that makes it a genuine commuter base. The wealth lives just outside: Old Basing, Sherfield and the north Hampshire villages, in period and gated houses on quiet lanes a few minutes from the M3 and within reach of Winchester and the Downs.

So our Basingstoke work leads with secure driving and close protection for executives whose week runs between the business parks, London and the airports, alongside residential surveys for the village houses around the town. Corporate-occasion cover completes it, handled quietly — in a town this corporate, a visible detail is itself a disclosure.

An illustrative scenario

The kind of pattern the commute produces: a director’s station-and-office routine, varied enough that its regularity stopped being useful to anyone.

Local context — the Basingstoke area

The panel reflects a busy town-and-retail centre; the villages where our residential work sits read quieter. The exposure worth planning for is the predictable commute, not the ambient centre figure.

These are anonymised, approximate map-point figures for roughly a one-mile radius — never a specific street, property or person — for the most recent month published. “Violence” is the Home Office “violence and sexual offences” category — a broad measure spanning harassment and common assault through to serious violence, much of it domestic or inside licensed premises. It is not a measure of targeted risk to a protected client.
