FIRST CLASSEXECUTIVE SECURITY

Norwich: a fine old city with the coast’s second homes behind it.

Norwich is a complete medieval city — two cathedrals, a Norman castle, the lanes and the market — with a university and a quietly prosperous hinterland. Its money is part local and part coastal: the Broads, and the north-Norfolk second-home belt around Holt, Burnham Market and the Chelsea-on-Sea villages, where London families keep boltholes. The city is the market town for all of it, at the end of a long road that keeps the county private.

So our Norwich work is largely residential and vehicular: protective surveys for the Broads and coastal houses where seclusion is the design, secure driving across a large, rural county, and discreet close protection for arrivals and private occasions. We plan for distance and the season, when a quiet coastal village becomes a busy one and a second home becomes a full one.

An illustrative scenario

The kind of house north Norfolk produces: a coastal bolthole whose remoteness felt like safety until a survey showed how visible its routines were.

Local context — the Norwich area

Recorded crime here is modest for a city this size, and the rural county is quieter still. Most of our work reflects that — prevention, discretion, and covering the distances that keep Norfolk private.

These are anonymised, approximate map-point figures for roughly a one-mile radius — never a specific street, property or person — for the most recent month published. “Violence” is the Home Office “violence and sexual offences” category — a broad measure spanning harassment and common assault through to serious violence, much of it domestic or inside licensed premises. It is not a measure of targeted risk to a protected client.
