FIRST CLASSEXECUTIVE SECURITY

Gloucester: a cathedral city on the edge of the Cotswolds.

Gloucester sits where the Severn Vale meets the Cotswold escarpment — the cathedral, the regenerated docks, a rugby city at Kingsholm — with the county’s serious money just up the hill and out along the escarpment. The Cotswold-edge villages and country estates toward Cheltenham and Painswick hold old and media wealth in equal measure, in manor houses and converted farms on long private drives a short run from the motorway.

So our Gloucester work is largely residential and vehicular: protective surveys for the escarpment estates and manor houses, secure driving across a county where the pretty route and the workable route are rarely the same, and discreet close protection for private occasions. Event cover handles the sporting and cultural days that fill the city.

An illustrative scenario

The kind of estate the escarpment produces: one whose seclusion read as security until a survey showed how much of the approach could be watched unremarked.

Local context — the Gloucester area

The panel reflects a working city centre; the escarpment estates where our residential work sits are quiet indeed. The exposure worth planning for is the approach and the routine, not the ambient centre figure.

These are anonymised, approximate map-point figures for roughly a one-mile radius — never a specific street, property or person — for the most recent month published. “Violence” is the Home Office “violence and sexual offences” category — a broad measure spanning harassment and common assault through to serious violence, much of it domestic or inside licensed premises. It is not a measure of targeted risk to a protected client.
