Bath: Georgian order, on a tourist’s timetable.
Bath keeps its wealth in the open and in the past — the Royal Crescent and the Circus, the Georgian terraces climbing Lansdown and Bathwick, the honey-stone houses on the hills above the river. The Roman Baths and the abbey pull a heavy year-round visitor crowd through the compact centre, and the city’s money is settled and discreet, sitting a little above the crush on the slopes that look down on it.
So our Bath work is mostly residential and vehicular: protective surveys for the hillside terraces and the country houses in the valleys around the city, secure driving that treats the one-way system and the visitor congestion as the routing problem they are, and discreet close protection for arrivals and private occasions.
