FIRST CLASSEXECUTIVE SECURITY

Chester: old money on the county’s western edge.

Chester does its wealth quietly and old: the Roman walls and the galleried Rows in the centre, the racecourse on the Roodee, and beyond the ring road a belt of estates and gated houses running toward Eccleston and the Welsh border. It shares the Cheshire pattern — airport-adjacent, discreet, residential — but with a settled character rather than the newer money of the golden triangle to the east. Raceweek is the one predictable spike in visitors and attention.

Our Chester work is mostly residential and vehicular: protective surveys of the estate and riverside houses, close protection and secure driving through the county and across to Manchester Airport, and discreet event cover during raceweek, when the city’s profile and its crowds both rise. We are Midlands-based and close, which keeps response times honest across west Cheshire and the border.

An illustrative scenario

The kind of week raceweek produces: cover that lets a family enjoy the meeting while the arrivals, the parking and the exits are somebody else’s problem.

Local context — the Chester area

Recorded crime here is low, and it is worth saying so plainly — this is a settled, walled city, not a high-incident centre. Most of our work reflects that: prevention, discretion and driving, not a response to any wave of incidents.

Violence

These are anonymised, approximate map-point figures for roughly a one-mile radius — never a specific street, property or person — for the most recent month published. “Violence” is the Home Office “violence and sexual offences” category — a broad measure spanning harassment and common assault through to serious violence, much of it domestic or inside licensed premises. It is not a measure of targeted risk to a protected client.
