Milton Keynes was planned around movement — the grid roads, the roundabouts, the separated redways — and it shows in how the place works: corporate headquarters and distribution offices spread across the grid, a very large retail centre at the middle, Bletchley Park to the south, and the West Coast Main Line putting London inside forty minutes.
